As the birthplace of TKH, the New York market is our largest and longest site location with programs in all five boroughs and Westchester. Established in the Bronx, TKH programs has spread throughout the city impacting youth and young adults seeking life changing results. In the last decade, the organization has partnered with numerous local nonprofits, funders and elected officials to make the TKH vision possible.

This free, one-day event aims to empower young professionals and career changers interested in exploring technology careers. Participants will learn about tech career pathways, develop critical digital literacy skills for the workplace, get a hands-on intro to coding, and network with community members and tech industry professionals.
Interested attendees will be priority applicants for the 2025 Innovation Fellowship, a free 12-month job training program that prepares participants for the competitive tech industry.
Each Tech Empowerment Day is from 10 am - 4 pm, followed by networking and priority Innovation fellowship application until 5:30 pm.
This 12-month program trains high school youth in foundational coding and design, explore STEM careers and complete industry-facing internships or apprenticeships.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in high school as a sophomore, junior, or senior, be a resident of New York, Newark, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
This 12-month program aims to serve 18+ adult job seekers from diverse backgrounds and trains them in 4 tracks: Data Science, Cybersecurity, Web Development, and UXUI Design.
Eligibility: Ages 18+, household income under $60,000, and be a resident of New York, Newark, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
